Nicole Heyer, MSW Intern
Nicole Heyer is currently attending the Masters of Social Work program at the University of Denver. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University in 2010 and has been working in the mental health field of social work ever since. Her experience includes a variety of mental health settings including a shelter for unhoused persons, a residential facility for women diagnosed with severe mental health disorders and substance misuse, clubhouse, and is currently working at an intensive outpatient program serving adults with a variety of mental health challenges. Nicole also supervises Bachelor Social Work students in hopes to impact future social workers to be their best social work self. Social work is her passion and she is excited to continue serving those in need. During her free time, Nicole loves to spend time with her family, having dance parties with her toddler, and exploring beautiful San Diego and the world beyond.
